TARIFFs

 Tariff is a duty/tax imposed on import of goods from foreign countries. Tariffs are imposed to protect/shield local manufacturing. TARIFFs may also be used to reduce debt to foreign countries! Not all economists are in favor of imposing tariffs because it might lead to global imbalance.
