Weather is making bigger news in USA now on national TV than anything that happens in Washington D.C. According to NBC news, twelve states and over 30 million people might be feeling the effect. There are scary typhoons and funnel shaped storms reaching high into the clouds as these spin at high speeds tearing up anything that stands in their way. One video snippet shows houses and cars submerged in what looked like a river that had changed course and decided to flow through a town. It's likely that houses each worth hundreds of thousands might float in that river just like the huts of poor people in northern India when the monsoon causes a flood to occur.
Here near Seattle, sun and rain seem to alternate with cold winds sandwiched in-between just when I assumed winter was over and it is time to fold the jackets…..
Update: Bangalore, once called the silicon valley of India, is also submerged in flood waters. Another report says a part of Australia is having a similar experience!
